Full Family Home Concept Designs
This project explores the design of a family residential building developed from initial concept through schematic design. The work documents the full design process, including early sketches, spatial composition, floor plans, massing studies, and material development across both levels. The proposal is supported by visualizations and renderings that communicate scale, materiality, and the overall architectural intent.
Renovation Concept Visualization - St. John’s Anglican Church
At St. John’s Anglican Church, Oak Inc. developed renovation concept visualizations for the repainting of the main hall, allowing stakeholders to preview proposed updates before implementation. The concepts focused on refreshing the space while preserving its historic character, with color palettes and finishes selected to highlight architectural details and support a welcoming environment for the community.
Bermuda Heritage Museum
Developed a detailed relocation layout plan for the historical landmark and museum at 22 York Street, St. Georges focusing on optimizing the use of the existing structure for future development. This project is currently under review and in the process of obtaining approval to begin construction.
Rustic Daybed Platform With Integrated Storage
Raised wooden platform serves as a daybed with storage drawers seamlessly integrated beneath it.
Custom Pallet Wood Dog House
Designed and handcrafted a raised doghouse using repurposed pallet wood, tailored for a small dog. Built with an elevated base to provide comfort and airflow, while keeping the structure suitable for indoor use. Finished with a smooth, durable surface to ensure both functionality and a rustic, decorative look.
Glass Frame For Reception Desk
Designed and installed a custom glass frame for the Department of Planning’s office reception desk. The design utilized the existing desk opening to create a secure and functional barrier, ensuring both client accessibility and staff safety.
Custom Drum Cover (Noise Absorption)
Designed and built a sound-absorbing cover for the drum set at First Church of God – North Shore, Bermuda. Constructed from a single sheet of birch plywood, cut to fit the existing plexiglass enclosure, and internally lined with carpet to reduce sound bleed into other microphones. Finished with a Golden Oak varnish for durability and a polished look.
Wooden Planter Box
Pallet wood planter customized to fit the specifications of the client’s yard. Designed and built using reclaimed pallet wood, emphasizing efficient use of materials and sustainable construction practices. The finished piece provides a durable, functional solution that integrates naturally into the outdoor space.
Custom Wooden Chairs
Wooden Bar Stools finished with a traditional Japanese method which involves using fire to carbonize the wood.
